About the dnd cultist miniature — Astarte priestess survival into the medieval era

The cultists of Astaroth are not warlocks bargaining for power — they are the survival of pre-demonization Astarte worship into the medieval era. The leaf-frond headdress on this dnd cultist miniature cites the asherim-grove tradition (Susan Ackerman, Under Every Green Tree, 1992). The sun-emblem shield is Astarte's solar aspect, identified with the Mesopotamian Shamash and depicted on Sidonian coins. The spiked mace is the temple-guard's weapon — a ritual mace, designed for the blunt-force breaking of idols of rival gods. She stands on a heap of skulls; the cult preserves its faith by burying its enemies under it.

Material and finish — SLA resin, primer-ready

Printed in UV-cured photopolymer resin at 0.04 mm layer height, post-cured and supports clipped before dispatch. Unpainted; light support cleanup on the leaf-frond headdress and shield rim. Dimensions: 32 mm round base, ≈38–48 mm total height on the skull-heap. Ready for primer and acrylic paints.
