About the celestial guardian miniature — the warder of a fallen choir

Dionysius the Areopagite's Celestial Hierarchy (c. 5th–6th c.) ranks the angelic orders by their nearness to the divine. The Haloed Warden is what remains of a gatekeeper from that hierarchy after it has changed allegiance — the halo no longer light but a turning ring of brass teeth, the open hands no longer only blessing. In the Court of Seere it is the third Guardian, the warder that stands between the Prince and the celestial powers he has abandoned, a fixture of a Goetic procession.

Material and finish — SLA resin, 40 mm heroic scale

Printed in UV-cured photopolymer resin at 0.04 mm layer height, post-cured and supports clipped before dispatch. Pre-supported Clay Cyanide sculpt on a ≈40 mm round base, roughly 65–80 mm tall including the halo. Unpainted grey resin, ready for primer; the brass halo and white robe contrast well under a single highlight pass.
