About this collection
The Dachshund Army
The Dachshund Party is our own: a full adventuring party of long-bodied heroes, designed in-house in Wrocław. Wizard, warrior, rogue and friends are all here, for people whose favourite party member has always been the dog. Because the sculpts are ours, this is the one collection where nothing stands between an idea and the shelf: we sculpt, we print, we paint the studio copies.
Every dachshund is resin-printed in the same workshop that designed it, cleaned, cured and checked before packing, with supports removed from snouts, ears and detail first. Scale options are listed per product — tabletop size for a campaign, larger for the shelf of a dachshund household.
Figures arrive unpainted and ready for priming. They are collector's models rather than toys; every listing carries its own safety information.
Painting a dachshund party is mostly painting coats, and real dogs are the best reference there is: smooth red, black-and-tan, dappled merle — all of them work over a simple zenithal prime with patient thin layers. Give each hero one signature colour on cloak or gear so the party reads as a team across the table, the way a good adventuring party should.
We print to order — each dachshund is dispatched within 5–10 business days — and ship across the EU, with parcel lockers in Poland. And since these are our own designs: if you want a class or pose the party is missing, tell us. This is the one set where we can simply sculpt it.
The party has nine members, all at 32 mm: a Bard with a feathered hat and a lute too big for short paws, a kneeling Mage with a staff and an open book, a Druid in an antler crown with a bird on his shoulder and a squirrel at his feet, a Hunter with the bowstring drawn, a hooded Cleric with a warhammer and a censer, a Paladin with sword and shield, a Rogue with a curved blade, a Barbarian whose studded armour runs the length of a very long back, and a Wizard in a pointed hat and tiny spectacles. The Dachshund Army bundle brings all nine home in one box.
The collection is called Dungeons and Dachshunds, and it is the first figure range we have sculpted entirely ourselves — which is why its pages say original design rather than licence. The thinnest parts are the ones that make each character: lute strings, the bowstring and fletching, the censer chain, the druid's crown, the wizard's spectacles. Hold each hero by the base while you prime and paint.
As a gift, the obvious recipient is a dachshund household with a role-player in it; the less obvious one is a game master who wants a party nobody at the table will take too seriously. And if the gift misses, the standard 14-day returns apply.
The most personal way to paint the party is from life: give one hero the coat of the dachshund asleep on your own sofa, smooth red, black-and-tan or dappled, and the figure stops being a game piece and becomes a portrait. The gear is where each class lives — wood on the Bard's lute, pages in the Mage's open book, a glint on the Wizard's tiny spectacles, fletched arrows in the Hunter's quiver — and the Paladin's shield is the obvious place for a little freehand heraldry. Line all nine up in marching order along a shelf and the long backs do the composing for you. A varnish with a little sheen on the noses and eyes keeps the dogs looking alive.
