About this collection
Miniatures to Paint
Every figure here leaves our Wrocław workshop as a physical print: a resin model for painters, cleaned, cured and checked before it is boxed. Most are sculpted by Clay Cyanide and printed under its Commercial Crafters merchant licence; the rest are our own in-house designs. We paint miniatures ourselves, which changes how we prepare them for you — supports are removed from the faces and detail surfaces first, because we know exactly where a stray support scar ruins an evening of brushwork.
Most figures come in more than one size. Each product page lists its own scale options, so a piece can sit on a tabletop battlefield next to your existing army or stand alone on a shelf as a display print — same sculpt, different job.
These are models for painting: you receive them unpainted unless the listing says otherwise, with the surface prepared for priming. They are collector's items rather than toys, and each product carries its own safety information for the market it ships to.
A note on choosing a scale, since it is the question we get most: pick by where the figure will live. On a crowded game table a smaller print reads better and survives handling; on a shelf, a larger one earns its footprint with detail you can actually see. When in doubt between two sizes for a painting project, take the larger — every technique from layering to freehand gets easier with surface area.
Orders are printed and finished to order, dispatched within 5–10 business days and shipped across the EU, with parcel-locker delivery in Poland. If you cannot find a figure from a set you have seen elsewhere in Clay Cyanide's catalogue, write to us and we will tell you whether we can offer it.
This page gathers every figure in the shop. The Clay Cyanide collections are the Legion of Agares, Oni Yokai, the Legion of Astaroth, the Court of Seere, the Army of the Caledonian Boar, the Grigori and Mini-Mice: The Kingdom, and the in-house exception is the dachshund adventuring party. Two licensed Clay Cyanide pieces have no collection page of their own and live here: Nekhbet, the vulture goddess of Upper Egypt, and Mother Nullara, the Ashen Cardinal, from Clay Cyanide's Pandora's Box.
Where a figure comes in more than one size, the options come from one fixed range — 32, 40, 50 and 100 mm — and each product page lists its own; the larger sizes suit display. Everything is printed in resin at layer heights down to 0.04 mm, so fine sculpted detail stays legible. Once a figure is finished, keep it away from heat above 50 °C and out of direct sunlight, and dust it with a dry, soft brush rather than anything containing solvent.
Prefer to collect rather than paint? Painting is part of what the workshop does: ask for a painted figure in the colours you have in mind and the smoothing, priming and brushwork are quoted together with the print, so tell us before you order what the figure is for — a display shelf, a game table or a gift. For a present, a painted piece spares the recipient the brushwork and goes straight onto a shelf; for a painter, an unpainted one is the whole point. Whichever you choose, every parcel carries a safety card, the figures are collectibles for ages 14 and up rather than toys, and 14-day returns apply if a figure turns out not to be what you expected.
